Important Note: Drop-In Tutorial Groups should always come secondary to your TA’s office hours. Please always see your TA instead if possible.
If your assignments aren’t a breeze and you need help, then you’re in luck. The ACM is proud to have its second year of Drop-In Tutorial Groups. This year our hours are longer and more frequent, so check here for up-to-date schedules (changes will also be posted to the ACM google group). The groups are informal, and not usually busy (really you should make the most of it). We can’t help you with your code directly, but we can help you understand what to do. You know the saying about teaching someone to fish… Anyways, you should really come get some FREE tutoring — better now than right before an exam (when there’s no one to help you).
– See you in CSIL!
- When: Wednesdays (7:00-9:00 PM). There will be no tutoring on deadweek or finals week (No tutoring on March 10th or 17th for Winter quarter 2010).
- Where: CSIL (it’s technically HFH 1138, the door is outside)
- Who: ACM Tutors (become a tutor) will be available to help you understand how to do your homework/assignments. At least 2 tutors will be available at all times and they can usually help you one-on-one (or by appointment if needed). Tutors will have a piece of paper folded “hamburger style” with “Drop-in Tutorial Groups” and their name on it. There will also be a similar folder piece of paper above the tutors on the partition so you can spot the group from anywhere in CSIL.
